Puppies, Contracts and Copyright

So here are the puppies! I recently spoke to a senior portfolio class, taught by Kelsey Grass, on the topic of contracts and copyrights.

Contracts and copyrights are a vast and sometimes overwhelming topic, especially for illustrators just starting out. My goal in speaking to the class was to simplify things by outlining the three most common types of contracts you’ll encounter in publishing — though these also apply broadly to licensing, editorial work, and other commercial illustration projects.
